By road
The airport is approximately 12 km from the city centre, so if you're on a short break to Barcelona you won't spend too much time travelling to your accommodation in Barcelona or the surrounding areas. The route is well sign-posted as you leave the airport.
By taxi
Taxis from the airport to Barcelona city centre take about 30 minutes dependent on traffic.

By train
To catch the airport train into the city, just walk out and cross the long overhead bridge (with moving walkway) between Terminals A and B. Trains run every half hour and the journey only takes 20 minutes. A single ticket costs, EUR 2.20.
By bus
There is a shuttle bus service which stops outside each terminal and goes to central Plaça Catalunya every 15 minutes. The "Aerobus" (A1) is the most comfortable and easy way to travel between the city centre and the airport. A single ticket costs 3.45€.
Línea 105 goes to El Prat. Buses start from 06.05 and run every half an hour until 22.00. The cost of this journey is approximately 1.05€.
Línea 106 offers a night service to Plaza de España. Buses run at 22.15, 23.35, 00.50, 2.05 and 3.20 and costs approximately 1.05€.
By Rapid Bus
You can take the Rapid Bus from the airport to Girona, Figueres, Tarragona, Reus, Lleida.
The bus departs from Terminal B.
